First Prototype Tested!

March 2nd marked our first test of the rotator prototype phase one. The results were extraordinary and the feedback invaluable. Setup was much easier than expected and the balancing was almost automatic. This version was manually rotated, but the ease of rotation was incredible. It takes more energy to push a stapler on your desk than it does to move a 700 lb. motorcycle. There was absolutely no drift when moving the bikes. The dealership provided us with useful feedback on both the rotator and the overall viewing. We are still working on optimizing the high-resolution 360s as the file sizes are large. We are also ordering muslin photo canvases to hide the rotator base, lighting to evenly disperse shadows, and a portable garage that will be come the studio. We did 7 bikes at Victory of South Florida. We'd like to thank them for letting us use their facility. Here's a quick, unofficial link to a test area.
